Hi, I am Cécile and four years ago I founded Live Life Fit in Thornbury. I always knew I was destined to support and bring people together. And the Live Life Fit community is growing from strength to strength.

For 33 years I worked in the funeral industry, helping people move through the worst times of their lives. When it came time for me to leave that industry, I moved here to the beautiful Blue Mountains with my husband and two dogs. We set up home on the bay in Collingwood and I became a personal trainer.

This is the second time I have ventured into the fitness world. From 2011-2015 my husband and I co-owned CrossFit Select in Mississauga, having been bitten by the CrossFit fitness movement from its inception in 2007. I am a passionate believer in the power of exercise on the mind and the body. And from this experience, I learned I could inspire and lead people to be their best fitness selves.

At Live Life Fit we welcome all people, regardless of age, fitness level or physical ability. We have celebrated with many of our clients as they have hit and exceeded their own personal goals. And as our membership has grown, so too has the gym community we have fostered. Camaraderie, competitiveness and the desire to give their best in each class is what defines Live Life Fit members and is reflected in our values.

    My passion in life is helping people set and meet their goals. As a business and life coach, I work with individuals to achieve goals that stretch them beyond their limits through my individually designed one on one coaching. Whether you need help with fitness, business or personal goals, I’ll take you through my goal-achieving program which combines strength training with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to get you to your next level.

    Pursing my own goals and dreams, I have competed at the CrossFit Games in 2015, 2019 and placed third in 2021. I am now using what I learnt to help my clients at Live Life Fit reach their NEXT LEVEL.

    Melissa Bailey

    I joined the Live Life Fit team in October 2019. My passion lies in all things core and glute strength related. After living for years with back pain caused by severe scoliosis, I took control of my health. I learned everything I could about strengthening the core muscle groups and activating the gluteal muscles to manage and reduce my lower back pain. I found relief through the practice of BARRE as well as Pilates inspired movements. My speciality is classes focusing on these core muscle groups where I will also provide modifications tailored to each member’s specific issue/injury.

    I hold a Level 2 Crossfit Certification and when you are in my classes we will focus deeply on your form. I believe this is the secret to training hard and avoiding injury.

    In addition to class-based training, I also offer one to one training to clients who want to focus further on achieving their personal goals. 

    I live in Clarksburg with my wife Donna and our cat Luna

    From an early age, I have always had a passion for fitness. Whether I’m lifting weights, trail running or hiking in the woods with my family and dogs, moving my body on a daily basis helps keep me healthy and fit. 

    When I joined LLF back in 2019, I knew coaching was something I would thrive in. I love helping people achieve their fitness goals and encouraging them to live their healthiest life.

    I live for everything health and fitness related, but my true love is for my two little girls. My fiancé Zeke, my girls and I live in Clarksburg.
